If you are an individual or family who are crowdfunding or wish to support someone who is there are so many ways in which you can raise money to support.

• Organise a fundraising event – a music night, coffee morning, craft event, sporting event…

• Create a sponsored event – see our sponsor forms and flyers to help you out. Can you walk, swim, run, cycle, create …

• Bring and buy sale, swap shop of books, toys, jumble sale

• Sponsored car wash, mowing lawns, silence, book reading

• Are you creative? Can you sell homemade – anything from jewellery to jam or run a workshop which people pay to attend Could You Be A Donor?

• Raffles – ask your local businesses if they would donate a product or an ‘experience’ like a free haircut or morning coffee for two.

• Create a t shirt and sell to raise funds – platforms like teemill.com allow you to have a free basic account – have a campaign name and slogan such as the one for Tommy and Lottie below ‘can you give us a hand’

• Can you get supporters to donate small amounts regularly? An example could be £5 a month via paypal
• Could you get someone to donate a teddy bear or something similar – guess his name or birthday?

• If you google – tips for fundraising ideas you will get lots of ideas BUT if you could come up with a really unique idea that no one else is doing and make a big splash on social media that would be amazing!

• Don’t forget your local newspaper – they love good news stories!
